Roy L. Hunter

Roy Lee Hunter, 79, of Little River, passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at his residence. He was the loving husband of Nancy Jean (Ritter) Bunnicelli Hunter. They were married for six years.

Born on December 29, 1941 in Charlotte, NC, he was the son of the late John Lee and Ada Mae (Tadlock) Hunter.

Roy was a US Air Force veteran. He retired from the building supply business as a contractor sales representative.

In addition to his wife, Roy is also survived by two sons; Rod Hunter and his wife, Denise, and Todd Hunter; one daughter, Wendy Horrell; one brother, Glen Ronnie Hunter, and his wife, Sherry; one sister, Nancy Hunter Royen, and husband Dave; many grandchildren and expecting a great grandchild. He was preceded in death by two brothers; Randy Hunter and Ricky Hunter.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 28, 2021 at Lee Funeral Home and Crematory, 11840 Hwy 90 Little River beginning at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service.
