Born on April 19, 1962, in Springfield, Massachusetts, Susan lived a life full of warmth, laughter, and love. She brought joy to everyone who knew her — always the life of the party, with a heart big enough for everyone around her.
Susan had a deep love for the beach, where she found peace and happiness. She also had a passion for crafting, especially through her beautiful crochet work — creating handmade pieces filled with care and love that will be treasured for years to come. A devoted wife and beloved "Mema," Susan touched countless lives with her kindness, humor, and unwavering love for her family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Kenneth Massey; her daughter, Chandel Kane; her four grandchildren; her mother, Rita Martins; her father, Jack Martins; and her two sisters.
She will be remembered not only for the way she lit up every room, but for her generous spirit, and the deep connections she built with those lucky enough to know her. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Lee Funeral Home and Crematory of Little River is serving the family.
