

Susan Kay Geller Sapero Noblin died Saturday, February 28, 2026, at home in Longs, Horry County, South Carolina. Susie had suffered for some years from a steadily increasing, intensely painful neurological condition affecting her legs and feet, which for her there was no cure.
Susie was born April 27, 1943, in Cleveland, Ohio to Jac Sidney Geller and Frances Pearl Kronheim Geller. After graduating from Shaker Heights High School, she moved to Baltimore, Maryland to attend Goucher College, majoring in sociology. She began her career as a social worker for Baltimore County, Maryland. As her life progressed, she was a homemaker, a volunteer for various charitable causes, and later, as a Patient Coordinator for a local dental office.
Susie was a sensitive, kind, caring and compassionate life, noted for her persistence. She made lifelong friends from classmates, co-workers and others whom she drew into her life. To know her was to love her. She was a blessing to all who knew her.
Survivors include her husband, Al Noblin, of the home; sisters, Betsy Mielziner of South Euclid, Ohio and Joan Fien (Jeff) of Sarasota, Florida; children, Judi Tavill (Mike) of Rumson, New Jersey, Matt Sapero of Las Vegas, Nevada, Ken Noblin (Kirsten) of Troutman, North Carolina, Amy Kearns (Jason) of Greeley, Colorado, and Dianne Fultz (Mike) of Loris, South Carolina; grandchildren, Jake Tavill, of Brooklyn, New York, Sam Tavill of Brooklyn, New York, Hanna Cardenas (Carlos) of Concord, North Caroline, Caitlin Gowan (Robert) of Anderson South Carolina, Kelly Noblin of Troutman, North Carolina, Lydia Kearns of Greeley, Colorado, Andrew Kearns of Greeley, Colorado, Anna Kearns of Greeley, Colorado and Evan Fultz of Loris, South Carolina; great-grandson, Vincente Cardenas of Concord, North Carolina. Also surviving are many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Preceding Susie in death were her parents, Jac and Frannie Geller, former husband, Bob Sapero, and brother-in-law John Mielziner.
Special, loving thanks to Patti, Holly and Kim of Visiting Angels and Tracey, Susan, Kim and Maddie of Your Health Hospice. They were all a blessing to the family.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Lee Funeral Home and Crematory, 11840 Highway 90, Little River, SC, 29566.
