Susan was a woman with a truly caring heart. She was fun, warm, and endlessly giving, always ready to help others in whatever way she could. Her laughter was easy, her spirit generous, and her presence comforting to those who knew her. Susan was part of the women's auxiliary at the VFW. She found joy in simple pleasures; her two beloved dogs, endless butterflies, and anything touched with her favorite colors blue and purple.
Above all else, Susan adored her family. She was a devoted mother to her five children Darryl, Daniel ,Geoffrey, Christina, Jennifer and a proud, loving grandmother to eight precious grandchildren. Her love for them all was fierce and unconditional, and her legacy lives on through each of them.
She is also survived by her fiancé David Perkins, her three siblings Michael, Patricia and Barbara, her father Walt Duncan, and their large extended family. Her loving family will carry her memory forward.
Susan now rests in peace beside her mother, Crista, who also recently passed. Though their loss is deeply felt, there is comfort in knowing they are reunited.
Her kindness, her laughter, and her unwavering love will be remembered always.
Susan believed no story should go untold and no update should be delayed. As her loved ones always kid, “Telephone, telegraph, television, tell a Susie.”
