Suzanne K. Brooks

Born in Peoria, Illinois to Vernon and Zora Bloom, “Suzie” later permanently resided in North Myrtle Beach.

Suzie enjoyed living at the beach. Some of her favorite things were cooking, playing golf, and being an avid 49’ers fan. Suzie loved being a “Grammy” and spending time with her grandkids. She worked in the hospitality industry where she met many friends whom she cared for deeply. Her charisma and joyfulness lit up any room. Suzie was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her mother, Zora Bloom of IL; her sister Lori (Greg) Leas of IL; a brother, Bill (Judy) Bloom of FL; her daughters Stephanie (Clinton) Winchell of FL; and Molly Brooks (Sean Reardon) of SC; her grandchildren Bailey Winchell, Addyson Winchell, Ansleigh Winchell, and Lily Spivey. She was preceded in death by her father (Vernon) and sister Marie Tucker.

Suzie loved caring for family and loved ones’ furry friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the North Myrtle Beach Humane Society, 409 Bay St., North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582.

Services will be private (family). A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, March 5th at Rockefellers Raw Bar in North Myrtle Beach.
