Thomas J. Donohue

Mr. Donohue was born in New York, a son of the late Thomas and Joan Donohue. He retired from the New York City Police Department after

20 years of service and later moved to

North Carolina to enjoy his retirement.

Surviving are his daughter, Kelly Thomas and Lauren Donohue, their mother, Jackie; brothers, Kevin Donohue and Scott Donohue; and companion of 15 years, Diane Russini. He is predeceased by his son, Ryan Donohue.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Monday, April 11, 2016 in Lee Funeral Home Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held immediately following the service at Derbster’s Restaurant, 10101 Beach Drive, SW, Calabash, NC.

A second memorial service will be held from

12 to 4 pm on Saturday, April 16

at Plattduetsche Park Restaurant,

1132 Hempstead Turnpike,

Franklin Square, NY.
