

Edward Joseph Donahue, 57, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2017 in Livingston, NJ. Born in Elizabeth, Edward was raised in Union, NJ. He was a graduate of Union High School where he was an All-State soccer player. He later attended the University of North Carolina-Wilmington on a soccer scholarship. Edward was an avid fisherman and a fan of the New York Giants, Yankees, and Rangers. He loved life and lived it to the fullest.
Edward was predeceased by his father, Edward Michael Donahue and his step-father, Robert Browne. He is survived by his loving mother, G. Patricia Browne, his siblings Patricia M. D’Agostini (Arthur), Karen E. Donahue, and William Browne (Paula). He also leaves behind his niece Katherine Campos (Benjamin) and his nephew Brian D’Agostini, as well as his great- niece and nephew Megan and Matthew, along with many friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 22, from 4-8 PM at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Livingston. Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday, August 23 at 10:30 AM at St. Philomena’s Church, Livingston, with interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. In lieu of flowers, donations in Edward’s name may be made to the Children’s Organ Transplant Association, 2501 W. COTA Drive, Bloomington, IN 47403.
