Florence Walsh (nee Kraiger), 93, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 21, 2017 in Livingston, NJ. Born in Newark, Florence grew up in Irvington, and later moved to West Orange. She worked at Americana Portraits in West Orange for many years.
Florence was predeceased by her beloved husband, Gerald, in 1970. She is survived by her loving children, Kathleen Carsillo and her husband Joseph, Geraldine Januszeski and her husband Thomas, and Michael Walsh and his wife Roanne. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren Christopher, Kaitlyn, Jessica, and Thomas.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 25 from 9-10:30 AM at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Livingston, NJ. Funeral Mass will be offered following the visitation at 11AM at St. Philomena’s Church, Livingston, with interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
