Gregg A. Richards

Gregg leaves behind a wife, Valerie Wingerter Crawford; children Clint W. Richards, Taylor Lyn Richards, JR Crawford (Mickey), Bradford Crawford (Jess) and Christina Crawford Sehulster. Gregg is also survived by his grandchildren Corynn Sehulster, RJ & Michael Crawford and Cole & Crew Crawford.

Gregg graduated from Wayne Valley HS class of 1974 Wayne, NJ, Teterboro School of Aeronautics; was employed by Lockheed-Martin in California and worked on the protype of the F117 Nighthawk Stealth bomber. Gregg was the owner of GRC Construction LLC for over forty years. Gregg was a volunteer fireman with the Packanack Lake Fire Department, Company 5 Wayne, NJ. He was also a member of the Kiwanis Club of Livingston. He continues to watch over his family, friends and his country with his humor and soft strength.

Gregg was predeceased by his parents Donald and Shirley (Williamson) Richards of Wayne, NJ. He is survived by his brother D. Scott Richards (Patricia), sisters Cheryl Yodice (Anthony) and Donna Paino (Richard).

Earlier this year, Gregg was diagnosed with CMML , a type of Leukemia. He was selected to participate in a drug trial and courageously was chosen as the recipient of a stem cell transplant.

A visitation for Gregg will be held Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Quinn Hopping Funeral Home, 145 East Mount Pleasant Ave, Livingston, NJ 07039. A funeral service will occur Friday, December 30, 2022 at 4:00 PM at Christ Church in Short Hills, 66 Highland Ave., Short Hills, NJ 07078.
