Harry was born on February 22, 1929, in Newark, NJ, to parents, George and Edith Chambers. Harry established a career working at the Star Ledger and Daily Record as a machine operator. In addition, Mr. Chambers proudly served in the Army. He enjoyed spending time with his loved ones. Whether it was a family dinner, holiday gathering, or simply being together, he was happiest when surrounded by those he cared about.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents, and loving wife, Elaine Chambers.
He is survived by his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Visitation for Harry will be held Monday, June 30, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Quinn Hopping Funeral Home, 145 East Mount Pleasant Ave, Livingston, NJ 07039. A Funeral Mass will occur Monday, June 30, 2025, at 12:30 PM at St. Raphael Roman Catholic Church, 346 E Mt Pleasant Ave, Livingston, NJ 07039, with a Committal to follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, 1500 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, NJ 07083.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s.
