

Hubert R. Weber, 86, passed away at his residence in Monterey Beach, NJ. His family will be receiving friends at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., on Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Everyone is invited directly to St. Philomena’s Church, 386 S. Livingston Ave., Livingston, on Tuesday when the Funeral Mass celebrating his life will be offered at 10:45 AM; the cremation will be private. Please omit flowers but memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Way, Memphis, TN 38105 would be greatly appreciated.
Hubert was born in Passaic, NJ and had lived many years with his beloved late wife, Olga, in Livingston moving to Monterey Beach (Toms River) in 1983. He served in the Army during the Korean War and retired as Vice President of Mason-Keller Corp., Roseland, in 1990 after 40 years. Following retirement, he worked for the Spring Meadow Golf Course. Hubert was a member and past president of the Monterey Beach Club, Manasquan Elks and the Laicos Club in Lake Success.
Surviving are his devoted children: Jeffrey, Herbert (and Elizabeth), R. James (and Debra Ray) and Catherine Lavorgna (Michael); he is also survived by his loving grandchildren: Scott, Stacey and Brian Weber, James Ryan, Thomas, Matthew and Lauren Weber, Jessica and Nicole Lavorgna and siblings Kaye Hooper, Helene McGovern, Joyce Mitschele, Bill Weber, Sister Mary Claire Weber, O.P. and Bette Weber.
