Irene F. Morgenroth

Irene F. Morgenroth, 89, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023 in Tinton Falls, NJ, with her loving family by her side. Born and raised in Jersey City, NJ, Irene resided in Livingston for over 30 years, before moving to her favorite place to spend time and entertain her family and friends, Point Pleasant Beach. She would eventually move back to Livingston to be closer to family. Irene worked for Western Electric in Newark where she met her beloved husband Donald G. Morgenroth. She later worked for Macy’s in Livingston, where she worked in administration.

Irene was predeceased by her dear husband, Donald G. Morgenroth. She is survived by her loving children and their families, Arlene Leffler and her husband Chris, Donald Morgenroth and his wife Loraine, and Andrew Morgenroth. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Megan Leffler, Caitlyn Leffler, Hunter Morgenroth and Dylan Morgenroth. She is also survived by many loving family members, Michael Radu, his wife Patricia, and their children Sean and Justin, Maureen Keene and her husband Dave, and their children, Patrick, Erin and Colleen. Irene is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many extended family members. She was loved and loved her grand dogs, who will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 25, 2023 from 4-8 PM at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, Livingston. Funeral mass will be offered on Tuesday, September 26 at 11am at St. Philomena Church, Livingston. Cremation will be private.

Memorial donations in Irene’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
