Janet Knutsen, 87, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2015 at Crane’s Mill in West Caldwell with her loving husband by her side. Born in Staten Island, NY, Janet resided in Livingston for 41 years before moving to West Caldwell. She was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church in Livingston where she was the past president and secretary. She was also active at Crane’s Mill as head of the Welcoming Committee and Food Committee for 12 years.
Janet is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Arthur, as well as many nieces and nephews in Scotland.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 6 from 2-6 PM at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Livingston, NJ. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 7 at 10 AM at Grace Lutheran Church 304 S. Livingston Ave., NJ 07039 followed by burial at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover. In lieu of flowers, donations in Janet’s name may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, 304 S. Livingston Ave., Livingston, NJ 07039.
