

Jeanette M. (Romano) Ricci, 84, of Livingston, formerly of Lakewood, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Saint Barnabas Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Her family will receive friends at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., on Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Funeral Mass celebrating her life will be offered at St. Philomena’s Church, 396 S. Livingston Ave., Livingston, on Friday at 10 AM followed by the committal service at St. Teresa Cemetery, Summit. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Saint Barnabas Medical Center Foundation, Old Short Hills Rd., Livingston, NJ 07039 or Strong Kids Campaign, West Essex YMCA, 321 S. Livingston Ave., Livingston, NJ 07039.
Born in Newark, Jeanette lived in Long Branch, Dover, MA, Fort Meyers, FL and Myrtle Beach, SC and Lakewood moving to Livingston this year. She retired as the executive assistant to the Head of Medicine at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch in 1985 after ten years. Prior, she trained female inmates in secretarial skills and key punching technique at the Massachusetts Institution at Framingham, MA.
Jeanette loved reading, crocheting clothing for her grandchildren and traveling.
Predeceased by her beloved husband O. James Ricci and five siblings (she was proud to be one of eight children), she is survived by her devoted daughters, Debra Mochi, Dori Ricci Cheryl Ricci-Francione and husband Kevin; she is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Richard James Mochi, Cody Muller, Jesse and Kayla Francione and her dear sisters, Helen Dowling, Filomena Jeklinski and one brother.
