Joseph A. Drago

Born in Alia, Sicily; Joseph resided in Livingston for 53 years, where he established his family and business within his community. He owned and operated Drago & Sons Landscaping for 30 years.

His love for landscaping and gardening could only be outmatched by his love for his family. Joseph was a constant presence on the sidelines of his children and grandchildren’s sporting events, cheering them on proudly.

He loved spending his winter months in Hypoluxo, Florida where he enjoyed the sunshine and playing cards with close friends.

Joseph is survived by his wife of 58 years, Domenica; as well as his son, Tom, and his wife Laura; daughter, Anna; daughter-in-law, Jennifer; and grandchildren Tommy, Michael, Anthony, William, and Jordan. He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Philomena Church 396 South Livingston Avenue Livingston, NJ, on Tuesday April 11, 2023 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery East Hanover, NJ. The family will receive friends at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue Livingston, NJ, on Monday April 10, 2023 from 4-8 PM.
