Joseph Ollerenshaw passed away on Tuesday, August 18 in Morristown, NJ. Joseph was born in 1932 in Montclair, NJ to Robert E. and Mildred Ollerenshaw. He lived most of his life in Livingston, NJ and moved to Mendham, NJ in 1971. He was a member of the United States Marine Corps from 1952 - 1960, but remained active with the Marines until the end of his life. He was always active with his numerous nieces and nephews. He filled his life with the love of his Marine Corps brotherhood, his love of vintage cars and was an avid gardener.
He was the loving husband of Carol Ann Ollerenshaw (deceased) and father to sons Brett and Rod. He is also survived by his brother and sister, Edgar Ollerenshaw and Marilyn Williams, his companion, Gert Cronin, and a grandson, Christopher.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 23 from 2-7 PM at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Livingston. Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 24 at 10:30AM at the funeral home with interment to follow at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover.
