Josephine Picillo

Giuseppina "Josephine" (Magliacane) Picillo, 89, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston. Her family will receive relatives and friends at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., on Tuesday from 4 until 8 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Philomena’s Church, 386 S. Livingston Ave., Livingston, on Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at 10 AM followed by the entombment service at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.

Born in Caprilgia, Irprina, Italy, Josephine came to America in 1954 and had lived in Orange moving to Livingston 30 years ago. She had worked for Jerome Electric and had been a seamstress for many years.

Surviving her is her beloved husband, Felice and her devoted children Vincent (Yolanda) and Joanne DeNotaris (Joseph); she is also survived by her loving grandchildren Felice A. Picillo, Josette Timmons, Linda Connors, Laura DeNotaris and her cherished great grandchildren, Ryan, Emily and Christian.
