

Karen Evelyn “Kasey” Campbell died peacefully at her beloved shore home in Beach Haven West surrounded by her loving family and devoted friends on July 5, 2015. Kasey’s family and friends are invited to celebrate a beautiful life and the examples of kindness she set for others. Visitation will be held on July 8, 2015 at Quinn Hopping Funeral Home, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., Livingston, NJ from 3p-7p. A service will be conducted by Deacon Fred Smith at 6PM during visitation.
Kasey was born in St. Mary’s Hospital, Orange, NJ, the third of six children to Edward and Catherine Campbell. She was a lifelong resident of Livingston and was last employed by the Township of Livingston, working in the Comptroller’s office officially retiring on June 1, 2015. Kasey grew up in one of Livingston’s historically designated homes and continued to live there until the time of her death. She had many lifelong friends, neighbors and acquaintances all of whom she cherished. She touched the heart of everyone she met.
Previously, Kasey worked in the corporate travel industry for Louis Berger. She had a true passion for travel, both domestically and abroad. She vacationed with family and friends and visited many countries such as Ireland, Italy, Greece, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Mexico, all the Caribbean Islands, France, Spain, and London. She also frequented California and South Carolina, spending time with close family and friends. Kasey spent hour upon hour on LBI beaches, surrounded by her favorite things; nature, books, laughter and most especially her loving family and devoted friends. She had a true passion for the environment and donated her time and effort to many charities affiliated with the beaches on Long Beach Island where she spent every summer since her childhood with great joy.
Besides her parents, Kasey was predeceased by her sister Sue. She leaves behind her brothers Peter (Emilia) and Ray and her sisters Patty Holland (Robert), and Sharon Tunis (Jim). She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great -nieces, and great-nephews. Throughout her life, Kasey had a true devotion and loyalty to her family, including her aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews as well as her friends, whom she treasured. Those left behind will truly miss her kind and generous spirit.
