Lenard Stingl, 87, has started his journey to the stars and Heaven, for the first time alone, on Saturday, July 8, 2017. Lenard was a proud member of the U.S. Navy, serving overseas and in Annapolis, MD. He later moved to New Jersey, found a job at Singer-Kearforth and spent 38 years there in management with the Space Program. After retirement, he and his wife spent time visiting different countries and finally settled in Florida.
Lenard leaves his wife, Mildred, to carry on with keeping the love he held in his beautiful heart for all his family. He also leaves his children, Lenard Stingl and Cheryl Tracey, grandchildren, Paul, Michael, Megan and her Husband Ernesto, as well as his precious great-grandson, Ethan Alexander, who had a magical bond with Lenard. Lenard also leaves behind his sister Judy Stillwell, and his late brother, Don, who will be waiting for him in heaven with their parents.
To have Lenard as a husband has been a beautiful romance, with great respect between us. His soul will dwell in my heart, our hearts, forever. Rest with your head held high, so we can look at the stars and talk to you. You will be with us forever.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 12 from 4-8 PM at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Livingston. Military honors will be performed at 6PM, and funeral service will conclude the visitation at 7:30PM. Cremation will be private.
