Lillian M. Savino, 81, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Newton Memorial Hospital. Her family will receive relatives and friends at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., on Friday, May 22, 4-8 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Our Lady of the Valley Church, 518 Valley St. (at Nassau St.) Orange on Saturday at 10 AM. The Committal Service will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ.
Born in Orange, she lived in West Orange for many years moving to Sparta eight years ago.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, Anthony, her son, Anthonyand her brother Edward Freeman, she is survived by her devoted children, Denise Rocca and her husband Tim, Angelo Savino and his loving companion, Sara and Dana Marie Savino; she is also the loving grandmother of Michael and Jenna Rocca and Angelo Rocco Savino and great grandmother of Ava Stella Rocca; she is also survived by her sister Clarice Engleman and daughter-in-law Lynn Savino.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Way, Memphis, TN 38105.
