Lois B. Gray

Lois Bedford Gray, 85, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 with her husband by her side. Born in Orange, Lois was a longtime resident of West Orange, Whippany, and then Pompton Plains. Lois received her Bachelors of Science from Trenton State College in 1954. She was a first grade teacher in the Livingston schools for over 30 years. She looked forward to each and every family gathering, and shared her inspiring fellowship through her faithful Christian service.

Lois is survived by Bob, her beloved husband of 62 years, and their four children; Kathy and Ed Bush, Meggin and Jon Vitarius, Rob and Lorrie Gray, and Chris and Susan Gray. She also leaves behind ten grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 4-8pm at the Quinn Hopping Funeral Home, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., Livingston, NJ. The funeral will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 10am at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 315 Main St., West Orange, NJ. Burial will follow at Restland in East Hanover. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lois’s name may be made to Holy Trinity Church.
