Mary C. Milano

Mary Milano (nee Cuozzo) died peacefully at her home on Friday, November 13, 2015. She was born in Williamsport, PA, the third of nine children, on October 7, 1925. After attending high school, she moved to the big city and relocated to Newark, NJ to find her fortune. Her fortune was soon discoverd when she met the handsome and dashing Nicky Milano. They married on June 21, 1947. She initially worked as a dental assistant to Dr. Louis Sena in Newark. Her vocation changed when Michael arrived in 1951 and Cynthia in 1956. After that, she was Mom. Later, when the family business needed help, she attended night school and became a licensed insurance broker, founding the Kent Insurance Agency.

She leaves behind two children, Dr. Michael Milano of Livingston and Cynthia Loizeaux of Flemington; seven grandchidlren, Nick, Charlie, and Joe Milano, Stephanie Casertano, Michelle Loizeaux, Kate Loizeaux, and Martha Gudino; three great-grandchildren, Manolo and Luca Gudino and little Parker Marie Casertano, her great-granddaughter.

Visitation is at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Livingston on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 10:00AM at St. Raphael's Church, 346 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Livingston. Entombment will be at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
