Muriel V. Godfrey, 93, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2022 in West Orange, NJ. Muriel worked for many years as an administrative assistant for various doctor’s offices. She and her husband lived in West Orange, Stamford, CT, Maplewood, and eventually moved and lived in Puerto Rico for about 20 years, before settling in Florida. She loved the arts and spending time in New York City, and also had a passion for traveling. She enjoyed her time visiting China, India, and many countries in Europe, just to name a few.
Muriel was predeceased by her beloved husband, Fred Godfrey, and her dear son, Ronald A. Godfrey. She is survived by her loving children Lynda Campanella, Donna L. Godfrey, Patricia Godfrey, and Craig Godfrey and his wife Donna; her 10 grandchildren, and her 4 great-grandchildren.
Memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, April 23 from 2-4 PM at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, Livingston.
