Born in New York City, Mrs. McMahon resided in South Orange, NJ before moving to West Orange 21 years ago.
She was formerly employed as a Social Worker with the Senior Services Agency of Orange, NJ for 5 years, retiring in 2002. Previously, Mrs. McMahon was employed with Seton Hall Prep and was Director of Development for 14 years. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church of West Orange, and a volunteer for the Essex County ARC at the Stepping Stones School of Livingston.
She is the beloved wife of 39 years to Walter McMahon, devoted mother of Sarah McMahon and husband Matthew Cannizzo, David McMahon and wife Colleen Hilferty, loving grandmother of Nate and Grace Cannizzo, Maeve and Eamon McMahon, cherished daughter-in-law of Blanche McMahon.
