Robert “Pete” O’Donnell, 76, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2011, at his residence in Livingston. His family will receive friends at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., on Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Funeral Mass celebrating his life will be offered at St. Philomena’s Church, 386 S. Livingston Ave., Livingston, on Wednesday at 11 AM. Cremation will be private.
Born in Bayonne, Pete lived there for many years moving to Livingston seventeen years ago. He was a heating technician with Metro Fuel, Ridgefield (formerly Beacon Oil of Bayonne) for the past 53 years. Pete was a member of the National Association of Oil Heating Service Managers.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth (Brady) of 53 years, devoted daughters Julia Sosa and husband Harold, Kelly Hartnett and husband Con and his loving grandchildren Tori, James and Jack Harnett and Amanda Sosa.
