Romano A. Fusco

Romano was born October 3, 1927, in Lucera, Italy. Romano was the owner of Romann’s Interior Decorating in Orange, NJ until his retirement and was still upholstering until just a few weeks ago! Romano was passionate about soccer, especially his favorite team, Juventus. He enjoyed traveling, reading the Italian newspaper on his iPad until the wee hours of the night, spending winters in Florida with his wife and friends, and riding his bicycle. He also enjoyed playing cards and Bocce.

He is survived by his cherished wife, Maria Fusco, his sister Lidia Sorrentino and brother Silvano Fusco, His three children, Barbara Fusco, Benito Fusco and Angelo Fusco and his three stepchildren, Maria Salierno and husband Pat, Michael Italiano and Lisa Luongo along with many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, brother and sister-in laws and many dear friends. Romano was predeceased by his father Amadio Fusco and mother, Albina Pedone Fusco, twin brother Benito, his sister Anna and his other brothers Ralph, Mario, Vittorio and Gino.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday December 14, 2022, from 4-8pm at Quinn Hopping Funeral Home, 145 E. Mount Pleasant Ave., Livingston, NJ. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday December 15, 2022, at 10am at St. Philomena Roman Catholic Church, 386 S. Livingston Ave., Livingston, NJ with entombment to immediately follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ.
