William Michael Luca

William "Bill" Luca, 67, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2014 surrounded by family and friends. He worked as an insurance executive for 49 years before retirement. Bill will be remembered by all for his generosity and selflessness. An amateur food critic, Bill enjoyed traveling and the finer things in life. He was never without a funny joke or story to share. People naturally gravitated toward him and wanted to be in his presence. Although Bill was often the life of the party, his happiest moments were spent with his beloved wife and family.

Bill is survived by his best friend and soulmate, his wife of 28 years, Bernadette, his son and daughter in law, Jonathan and Barbara, his son and daughter in law, Christopher and Ellen, his mother, Mary, and his sister and brother in law, Marlene and Dominic. He also leaves behind his treasured grandchildren Thomas, Benjamin, Nicholas, and Henry, as well many adoring nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 9 from 2-7 PM at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave. Livingston, NJ. Funeral mass will be offered at St. Philomena Church 386 S Livingston Ave, Livingston, NJ on Monday, November 10 at 10 AM. Friends and family are asked to meet directly at the church on Monday. Interment will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
