Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visitation on Monday, March 21st from 3-6pm at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, Livingston. A funeral mass will be offered on Tuesday, March 22nd at St. Joseph's Church in West Orange at 10am. Internment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
Bill was born in Newark on May 5, 1960 to the late William P. Schepige, Sr. and Rose Schepige (Rogowski). He is predeceased by his beloved sister, Carol Ann Lukac (Schepige).
Bill loved learning, earning his bachelor's degree from NJIT and his Masters in Environmental Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. He was a valued long-time employee at Picatinny Arsenal, where he also fostered many beloved friendships through the years.
He was a gentle soul, who was eager to lend a helping hand in times of need. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing guitar, keeping-up with the latest technology, and crafting his own pizza from scratch. He loved his family immensely and was a devout Catholic who was active in his church community.
Bill is survived by his nieces Lauren Foley and husband Robert III; Brittany Lukac-Reisen and husband Samuel; great nieces and nephew, Emma Foley, Robert Foley IV, and Eleanor Reisen; and brother-in-law
John Lukac, Jr.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations in honor of Bill to Oratory Prep.
