Yolanda “Lonnie” Sementa (Pelosi), 87, passed away at Morristown Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, January 6, 2015. Her children will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, January 11, 2-6 PM. The Funeral Mass celebrating her life will be offered at St. Philomena’s Church, 386 S. Livingston Ave., on Monday at 11 AM followed by the committal service at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
Born and raised in Orange, she lived in Livingston moving to Island Heights in 1982. Lonnie assisted her husband, Agostino, in his accounting practice and later assisted her son, Frank, at D’Jais in Belmar. Her most favorite job, of course, was that of a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Agostino, she is survived by her devoted children, Frank and Teresa, Gail and Tom, and her loving grandchildren, Bryan, Justin and Michael O’Reilly.
