Yvonne Hung

Yvonne was born on September 15, 1971, in Newark, NJ, to parents, Chun Kar and Kwei Lien (Kuk) Hung. She graduated from West Orange High School in 1989. She went to college at Boston University, graduating in 1993 with a degree in Biology. She continued her education at New Jersey Medical School and graduated in 1998. Yvonne completed her residency in Pediatrics at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Yvonne worked at Montclair Pediatrics from 2001-2022.

Outside of work, Yvonne found joy in spending time with her family and close friends.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her mother, Kwei Lien (Kuk) Hung. She is survived by her husband, Patrick Hinfey, and their three children—Connor, Andrew, and Rebecca Hinfey—who were the center of her world. She is also survived by her father, Chun Kar Hung; three siblings—Michael Kar Hung, Jay Jeffrey Hung, and May Leigh Hung; and aunts and uncles T.O, Patricia, Robert, Betty, Peter, Anthony, and Irene.

A Visitation for Yvonne will be held Monday, June 9, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Quinn Hopping Funeral Home (145 East Mount Pleasant Ave, Livingston, NJ 07039). An additional Visitation will occur Tuesday, June 10, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home with a Burial to follow at Restland Memorial Park, 77 Deforest Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936.
