

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 6, 2026 at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel in Longmont. Burial will follow at Foothills Gardens of Memory.
Adagene was born on her parents’ homestead in Clayton, New Mexico, on August 4, 1938. She was one of seven children of Desmond Dallas and Juanita M. Dallas (née Morrison). She attended Clayton High School and college at Abilene Christian College in Texas. Adagene was a Christian and was baptized as a young teenager. Adagene met her husband Phil Burrows at college and they were married on June 6, 1954. Phil was a preacher in the church of Christ and the couple worked with congregations in Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado. Together, Phil and Adagene raised four children. She enjoyed working in injectable molding for over 20 years. Adagene was also active in her community and enjoyed teaching Children’s Bible classes and taking part in book clubs.
Adagene was preceded in death by her loving husband Phil on May 28, 2004. Survivors include her four children, Karesa Kay Stephenson, Bruce Edwin Burrows, Daryl Lynn Burrows, and Sheri Lenae Richards, as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family requests any memorials be made in the form of donations to your favorite charity. Children’s homes and charities were especially dear to Adagene’s heart.
