Al McManus was born on August 16, 1946 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania to Margaret and Alfred. He was raised in Audubon New Jersey along with his 2 sisters Kathy and Eileen. After graduating from Audubon High in 1966, he joined the Marine Corps where he served 4 years. After a short tour in Vietnam, he was one of 30 Marines selected to develop the first computerized personnel and payroll system for the Marine Corps. After 25 years of computer work Al then opened his own home remodeling business.
Al and Marie moved to Colorado with INA in 1981 settling in Niwot. Al always enjoyed the outdoors, touring the west, house boating on Lake Powell, canoeing, fishing,
4-wheeling, darts, shuffle board and playing pool with his friends.
He is survived by his wife Marie of 44 years, his son Rhys (Christina), his daughters Chandra Trasatti and Reyna Nichols and seven grandchildren (Christopher, Lauren, Danielle, Jeremy, Halo, Kayla and Austin). He is also survived by his sister Kathy (Robert) Somerville.
He will be greatly missed by Marie and her family, his children and their families and many friends.
