Beatrice V. Garcia

Beatrice V. Garcia went to meet the Lord on March 31, 2009 at the HospiceCare Center in Louisville. She was 76.Beatrice was born on March 16, 1933 in Logan, New Mexico to Celso Cordova and Epimenia Vigil Cordova. She married Felix N. Garcia on May 8, 1948 in Dalhart, Texas. The Garcia's moved to Longmont shortly after their wedding. A homemaker, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her home was always open and she loved to cook for all that came to visit. She touched many lives. She was a faithful servant of the Lord Jesus Christ and led her family to Christ.Preceding her in death were her husband, Felix; a son, Juan Luis Garcia; her brothers, Jose Maria Cordova and Elias Cordova; and her sisters, Jean Cordova and Rose Garcia.Surviving are her children, Frank Garcia of Greeley, Susan Martinez and her husband, John Gonzales, of Longmont, Lucy Fernandez and her husband, Ken, of Tucumcari, NM, Maria Garcia of Longmont, Carmelita Garcia of Longmont, Rose Villarreal and her husband, Eusebio, of Longmont, and Felix Garcia, Jr. of Ft. Collins; 19 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.A visitation will be held Sunday, April 5, 2009 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Howe Mortuary Chapel.Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 6, 2009 at New Creation Ministries with Pastor Donnie Bennett officiating.
