

Betty was born May 30, 1932 in Wheatland, Wyoming the daughter of Wilmer Anton and Cleta Alice (Tucker) Beran. Following her high school graduation Betty went on to earn a degree as a registered nurse. She worked in a variety of hospitals and doctor’s offices before realizing her passion for geriatric care. She spent many years caring for the elderly at both the Peaks and Applewood Living Center, from which she retired in 2000. She also had a true love of children and had an ability to make deep and lasting friendships wherever she went. Betty will be missed by all whom she touched as a warm and loving soul who saw the good in everyone.
Betty will be missed by her husband Charles Pearcy and son Michael Bond of Longmont, her daughter Debra Bond (Bruce McPherson) and granddaughter Jenny McPherson of Boulder; her brother Donald (Marilyn) Beran of Waldport, Oregon, and her nephew David (Kate) Beran and their daughter Emma of Corvallis, Oregon.
Memorial services will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 16 at the Howe Mortuary Chapel. A reception will follow.
