Betty Renoad

Betty was born on June 27, 1941 in Platteville to Carol A. and Anna (Hortense) Renoad. Betty lived in Erie and graduated from Erie High School.

Betty worked in the accounting department at the City and County of Denver, Public Works Division until she retired. After retirement, she enjoyed playing bingo, trips to Black Hawk, reading, eating Mexican food while listening to the Mariachis and snuggling with her cats. Betty was a huge Denver Broncos fan and held season tickets for many years, attending games until her health would no longer allow. Betty also loved watching and cheering on the Colorado Rockies.

She was preceded in her death by her parents and her sister, Carol, and brother, Bill Renoad. Survivors include her sister, Janet Renoad of Erie; cousin, Rick Renoad (Sandy); two nieces, Kim Sanger (Jim) and Stacy Parriott (Jeff); and one grandniece, Sydney Parriott.

Betty was laid to rest in a Private Graveside Service at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery. An Open House Celebration of Life was on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Bible Baptist Church in Erie. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.ahlbergfuneralchapel.com.
