Bev then returned to Longmont to be with her family, her church, and her old friends. She was a member of Calvary Church since 1970, where she served on the Nursery Committee, the Fellowship Committee, and sang in the choir for many years. In the community she served in the Women’s Bible Study Fellowship, where she was privileged to be a greeter, sharing smiles and hugs with many ladies. Utilizing her medical assistant training (received in San Jose) she worked for Doctor’s John Cletcher and Jerry Rupp for many years. Following retirement, she enjoyed being a volunteer in the Longmont Hospital Emergency Room for 20 years.
