Carmen Lynne Miller

Miller, Carmen Lynne, 73, of Longmont, died October 6, 2009 in Longmont. Carmen was born August 30, 1936 in Westwood, California, the daughter of James and Esther (Bransconb) Coleman. On April 27, 1955 she married George William Miller in Wiley, Colorado. Carmen will be remembered for her love of all babies and her devotion to her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed playing bingo and traveling to Reno to play the slots. Her husband, her parents, her brother Jim Coleman and her sister Carolyn Coleman preceded Carmen in death.Survivors include her sons George Milton Miller of Fort Collins, Shawn Coleman Miller and his wife Theresa of Longmont, and Kelly Herman Sousa of Denver, and her daughter Carolyn Jean Anderson of Brush. Further survivors include her brothers Mike Coleman of Parker, and Bud Coleman of Westwood, CA, sisters Rita Johnson, Susie Horn, and Sharon Atkinson all of California, ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Cremation has been entrusted to Howe Mortuary and Cremation Service in Longmont. A Celebration of Carmen's Life and a time of sharing will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. throughout the afternoon, at the family home, 1353 Northwestern Rd. Longmont, CO. 80503
