Carol Jane Dickey

Carol Jane Dickey passed away July 10, 2024, in Westminster, Colorado at the age of 88 years old. She was born January 6, 1936, in Boulder County Colorado to Philip and Martha Burns (Timken). She graduated in 1954 from Longmont High School. In October 1954, Carol then married the love of her life Wally in Raton Colorado. Soon after Carol and Wally moved from Longmont down to Westminster, Colorado. Carol was soon blessed with four sons, Robert (1955), Steven (1957), Mark (1960), Donald (1961).

Carol was interested in several hobbies like baking, sewing, and did some painting. She would also go to her sister Mary Ann's house before Christmas to bake a good part of the day and catch up with family. The annual Lake Powell, where the family would gather every year for houseboat trips. She also loved to travel to beach destinations, including Cancun, Puerto Penasco, Mazatlan, and Hawaii (13 times). Carol and Wally also enjoyed going to Blackhawk. Count on her asking you if you're hungry when you come by.

Survivors include sister in law Diane Fish, Robert Dickey, Steven Dickey (Cindy), Mark Dickey, Donald Dickey (Terri), grandchildren Michelle Clinkenbeard, (Curt), Stephanie Dickey, Matthew Dickey, Laura Stone, Michael Dickey, Corinne Murphy (Chris), Jami McCloskey (Scott), Danica Lewis (Bryan) and Ashley Huggett (Zack); great-grandchildren Curtis Clinkenbeard Jr., Claire Clinkenbeard, Barrett Stone, Ari Stone, Ulysses Lewis, Abraham Lewis, Eve Lewis, and Camden Murphy and Colby Murphy.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday July 23, 2024 at Howe Mortuary, 439 Coffman Street in Longmont, Colorado.
