Carol Lois Murray

Carol Lois Murray of Longmont died on November 24, 2012. She was 89 years old.She was born October 19, 1923 in St. Louis, Missouri to William Frank and Bessie Irene (Drummond) Kayser.Carol first moved to Longmont in the 1970's and returned in 2002. For the past several months, she has been a resident of Cinnamon Park Assisted Living.Carol loved to sew and was quite a skillful seamstress. She also loved caring for her many roses and enjoyed bowling. Carol spent many years babysitting. She took pride in helping to raise the babies left in her loving care.She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Murray, infant son Martin Paul, her parents and two brothers.Carol is survived by her four children Cookie Hughes (Michael), David Murray, Bill Murray and Bonnie Murray; two granddaughters Wendy Hughes Baker (Rich) and Lacy Murray Cleaver (Charles); one great grandson Adam James Cleaver; and four sisters and one brother.A memorial service to celebrate Carol's life will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
