Carol Ann Smith

Carol Ann (Holcomb) Smith passed peacefully on February 10, 2020 in Longmont Colorado at the age of 70.Carol was born on November 11, 1949 in Duluth, Georgia to Horace and Ruby (Browning) Holcomb. She is survived by her five children; Katherine (Kay) Power, Tracy Power, Jason Furlong, Ronald (Billy) Smith, and Alan (Chris) Smith as well as her seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her brother, Michael Holcomb, and sisters, Janice Berry, Jean Spivey, and Betty Hughes. Carol also leaves behind her beloved dog, Abby, who has been by her side and brought her endless joy.Carol grew up in Georgia as the youngest of five siblings and relocated her family to Longmont, Colorado in the late 1980's where she found a love for the Rocky Mountains. She enjoyed her grandchildren, picnics in the mountains, reminiscing about Georgia, Disney movies, and reading. Her favorite junk food was Cherry Coke and Milky Way candy bars. A memorial is scheduled for Sunday, February 23, 2020 at 1:00pm. Please contact the family for location. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Carol's life.
