Catherine Dee Collins

Catherine Dee Collins passed away August 3, 2012 at the HospiceCare Center of Boulder and Broomfield Counties. She was 50.Catherine was born March 14, 1962 in Torrington, Wyoming to Raymond, Sr. and Loretta (Trout) Collins. Catherine moved with the family to Longmont in 1964 from Wyoming. She attained her GED from the Adult Education program. Catherine married Larry Fanning, Sr., they later divorced.Catherine was a caregiver in the Health Care industry for her entire life. She attended Grace Baptist Church in Johnstown. In her free time she enjoyed knitting and crossword puzzles; and spending time with her family, she was a very dedicated and caring person.Catherine was preceded in death by her parents.She is survived by her sons Larry, Jr. (Ashley) Fanning and Christopher Fanning; her brother Raymond Collins, Jr.; her six year old grandson Riley; her former husband Larry Fanning, Sr.; numerous nieces and nephews; and by all the people she cared for and loved.Memorial service will be held 2pm Thursday September 20, 2012 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
