Charlotte Frances Nelson

Charlotte Frances Nelson passed away at home surrounded by family on May 28, 2016, in Hygiene, Colorado. She was 82 years old.Charlotte was born February 19, 1934 in Kansas City, Missouri to Louis and Ida (Bhone) McCaslin. She was the youngest of 9 children.She moved to Longmont in 1984 and married Harvey Nelson on November 1, 1986. Charlotte did all of the bookkeeping for their business, Harvey Nelson Equipment and never retired!Charlotte was a member of the Faith Community Lutheran Church.Her favorite quote was, All will be well.She was a wonderful canner and cook and developed the YesterYear Farm Show with her husband, Harvey and was voted Family of the year.Charlotte is survived by her spouse, Harvey, son Eddy Auldridge, daughter Lorraina Ackelson, Terry Ackelson & Allana Adams, Paul and Valerie Tams, Jayme Tams, Trystan Tams, Connie Nelson, Brooke & Austin Barker, Tylor Sanderson, Chad Auldridge, Mike Auldridge, Robin Lodge, numerous great-grandchildren and close family friends Bob & Maggie Howard and Hillary & Tom Lukow. A golden heart stopped beating hard hands at rest God took her life to prove to us that he only takes the best.Memorial service 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Faith Community Lutheran Church.
