Clare M. Davis

Clare Marie Davis, 86, peacefully passed away in her sleep on March 18, 2017 at Life Care Center of Longmont.She was born the daughter of John Joseph Kelley and Esther Lillian O'Hare on November 28, 1930 in Boston, Massachusetts. She graduated from high school with the class of 1949.Clare enlisted in the United States Air Force on May 14, 1952 during the Korean War and was honorably discharged on November 17, 1953 with the rank of Airman Second Class. It was while serving at Westover Air Force Base in Chicopee, Massachusetts that she met her future husband Ralph Lourie Davis in 1952. They were married in Chicopee on September 26, 1953. Among her many occupations, Clare worked at TRW Inc. Space and Defense Sector, which she retired from in 1992.Clare enjoyed music, watching football, and talking about her Irish heritage. She loved to spend time with close friends and family and loved to laugh.Clare is survived by her three children Glenn Davis (Terri), Julie Cutler, and Kelley Davis, her grandchildren Craig, Natalie, Nicole, Joshua, Benjamin, Joseph, and Grace, and her great-grandchildren Violet, Maya, Jack, Jason, Elayna, and Samantha.She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.Viewing and visitation will be from 1:30 to 3:00pm on Saturday, March 25 2017 with a funeral service beginning at 3:00pm at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory, with cremation following.
