A Colorado native, Claudine was born in Denver on September 27, 1936 to Mary Frances (Crawford) and Fred Eberharter. She was one of four children. She graduated from Louisville High School. On June 9, 1956, she married the love of her life, Jack Seader. Jack and Claudine celebrated 65 wonderful years together. They had two beautiful daughters, Joan and Christine, and a wonderful son, Michael. In 1981, the Seader family moved from Boulder to Longmont. They mourned the loss of Christine in July of that year.
Claudine was a very active in her community. She was a member of the Genealogy Society, the CU Buff Bells Club, and Woman of the Moose. In her younger years, she was in a bowling league. She enjoyed needlework, constructing doll houses, and collecting coins. Claudine was a big CU Buffalos fan. She attended all the home games and many out of state games, as well, and was an avid collector of CU memorabilia. Claudine loved to travel. She and Jack enjoyed a great many cruises together over the years.
Most of all, Claudine loved her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be dearly missed.
Claudine was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Mary Eberharter, her daughter, Christine Seader Babcock, brothers, LeRoy Eberharter and Louis Eberharter, sister, Meredith Madonna, and by her grandson, Kalib Babcock, who passed away in August of 2012. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Jack Seader, daughter, Joan Seader, son, Mike (Theresa) Seader, grandchildren, Stephanie Morris, Nikki (Alex) Nodich, and Brittany (Josh) Mast, great-grandchildren, Lakota Taylor, Parker Taylor, Madison Mast, Miles Mast, Joey Nodich, and Colten Nodich, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, December 20, 2021 at 12:00pm at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel in Longmont, after which Claudine will be laid to rest in a Private Graveside Service at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery.
