Born on December 31, 1959, in Longmont to Paul Stickler and Judy Brown, Corrie grew up in Erie, Colorado, and graduated from Erie High School in 1978. She later attended Front Range Community College. In 1979, Corrie made Longmont her home, where she built her life, her family, and countless cherished memories.
On October 19, 1991, Corrie married Steve Wilson. Together, they shared many adventures, including riding Harley-Davidsons, camping in the mountains, and spending time on the boat, in the water. Corrie especially loved participating in poker runs that supported the MS Society, a cause deeply meaningful to her.
Corrie worked in accounts receivable until 1998, when her health required her to step away from a job she truly loved. Despite the challenges she faced, she continued to fill her days with joy. She was a longtime member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and found happiness in quilting, cross-stitching, playing bingo, and most of all, being surrounded by her family.
Corrie’s greatest pride and joy were her loved ones. She is survived by her devoted husband, Steve Wilson of Longmont; her sons, Clifford (Ashley) Sanger of Milliken, CO, and Jeff (Jennie) Wilson of Missouri; and her daughters, Charlotte (Coban) Bassett of Florida, and Sarah (Bobby) Donley of Byers, CO. She is also survived by her mother, Judy (Stan Sr.) Breedlove of Okeechobee, FL; her sisters, Terri Bowers of Louisiana, Jackie Gabbard of Oklahoma, and Karen (Scott) Shamblen of Illinois;
Corrie is also survived by her brothers; David (Megan) Stickler of Buckeye, AZ, Billy Stickler of Las Vegas, NV and Stan Jr. (Meredith) Breedlove of Flower Mound TX as well as her uncle, Theodore (Ellie) Brown of San Francisco, CA. Corrie’s legacy continues through her 12 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and many beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Corrie was preceded in death by her father Paul Stickler, Donna Stickler (Step-Mother) her brother Michael Stickler, and Sisters, Connie Carlill, and Shelly Thomas.
Corrie will be remembered for her kind heart, her adventurous spirit, and the love she poured into her family and friends.
