Cynthia Ann MacArgel

Cynthia Ann MacArgel, formerly Cynthia Fl rchinger, of Longmont, died March 19, 2011 at her home. She was 59 years old.Cynthia was born on March 30, 1951 in Rahway, New Jersey, the daughter of Willard C. and Veronica (Tomasovic) MacArgel. She married Col. Joseph M. Dai, MD in 1970 and they later divorced.Cynthia moved to Longmont in 2004 from Colorado Springs. She was an executive assistant in Boulder for Intuit Eclipse from 2004-2007 and later worked at Oracle from 2007 until 2010.Cynthia was a very active member of Rinn United Methodist Church, serving as the church's accountant and was always very involved in many church functions. Cynthia enjoyed gardening, reading, enjoying time with her animals and traveling.She was preceded in death by her parents.Cynthia is survived by her son, Cpt. Joseph M. Dai III, MD (Jennifer), currently stationed in Germany; her daughter, Kathryn Dai (fiancé Zachary Kotas) of Denver; three brothers, Robert E. MacArgel (Gayle) of St. Peters, Missouri, Willard C. MacArgel (Anna) of Haledon, New Jersey and Donald T. MacArgel (Mary) of Jacksonville, Alabama; two nephews and her Aunt Vera.A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Rinn United Methodist Church, 3783 Weld County Road 20 in Frederick. Cremation at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory. Memorial contributions may be made to Rinn United Methodist Church and mailed to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
