Darion Blaze Alvarado

Darion Alvarado was a funny, caring, and deeply loving soul whose presence brought warmth, laughter, and light to everyone who knew him. He was a true jack of many trades, working over the years as a plumber, roofer, cook, dishwasher, welder, maintenance man, and, most memorably, a sign spinner. No matter the job, Darion brought energy, humor, and heart. He loved his Pastelillos and Arroz con Gandules, the foods that reminded him of home, family, and the culture he cherished. Darion was loved beyond measure, and he will be missed more than words can ever express.

Darion is survived by his mother and stepfather, Bernadette Seader and Russell Seader, and by his father and stepmother, Hector Alvarado and Clorinda Alvarado. He is also survived by his siblings: Destiny Sneed and her wife Candace Sneed, Diamond Alvarado, Joshua Delsanno, Leilani Cuyler and her husband Dax Cuyler, Laya Daughtry, Deandre Gamble and his wife Tiffany Gamble, Demani Alvarado, and Alyssa Seader. Darion is also survived by his brother-from-another-mother, Cody Maloy, who was family to him in every way that mattered

Darion leaves behind his beloved children, Keira Alvarado, with her mother Savanah Norris, and Anthony Alvarado, with his mother Lindsey Jensen. His children were the greatest joys of his life. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews who adored him, including Dominick Atencio, Donovan Silva, Nicholas Silva, Landon Swendson, Scarlett Clinefelter, Hailey Carrasco, Jaxson Carrasco, Rhea Gamble, Rhylee Gamble, Love Cuyler, and Zeno Daughtry.

Darion is survived by his grandmother, Ivonne Rivera, who held a special place in his heart. He is also survived by his uncle Mario Silva and his wife Laura Silva, and their children Dylan and Jayden Silva; his aunt Jennifer Jones and her husband Karlos Jones, and their children Isis Bell, Xzavian Daughtry, and Jacob Jones, as well as his uncle’s Jesus Alvarado and David Alvarado, and his aunts Elizabeth Alicea and Margie Alvarado.

Darion’s life touched many, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved him.

Cremation is entrusted to Howe Mortuary & Crematory of Longmont, Colorado.
