Darrell L. Martin

Darrell Bud Martin passed away January 23, 2017 at Longmont United Hospital. He was 59 years old.Bud was born on June 10, 1957 in Central City, Nebraska to Leslie Darrell and Loretta (Stromberg) Martin. He attended Central City High School where he wrestled and played football for the Bison's.On September 3, 1977 he married Shari Husman in Grand Island, Nebraska. Together they moved to Colorado in 1987. Bud worked for Nash Finch until 1999. He then worked for the St. Vrain Valley School District in custodial services.He enjoyed watching the University of Nebraska and Denver Bronco football teams and playing PlayStation.Bud was preceded in death by his parents; his infant brother David; his step-father Homer Killham; his mother-in-law Leanna Husman his step mother-in-law Joan Husman and his step brother-in-law Berri Balka.He is survived by his wife Shari; his son Aaron; his brother Dan (Sharon) Martin; his sisters Angie (Jeff) Davis, Cindy (Wendell) Crouse, Debra Drummond and Rebecca Way; his father-in-law Harry Husman; his stepmother Alice Willie Martin; his stepbrother Donald Post his stepsister Judy Balka and numerous nieces and nephews.Visitation 4:00 “ 6:00 PM Friday January 27, 2017 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel with family present to greet friends. Funeral service 11:00 AM Saturday January 28, 2017 at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church. Cremation will follow the funeral service. Memorial contributions can be made to the Bud Martin Memorial fund.
