He attended the University of South Alabama, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. David was dedicated to serving and protecting. This is evident from his commitment to the US Navy early on in his career. This continued as he worked through serving in law enforcement and finally providing his talents to the Federal Government. He retired in 2014 and was a member of St. Vrain Lodge #23, and a life member of the American Legion and VFW.
David is preceded in death by his first wife, his father and mother, and his sister. He is survived by his second wife, six children, and eight grandchildren. David was a devoted husband and father, always putting the needs of his family first. He was at his happiest when surrounded by the love of his family. He was a pillar of strength and support, offering guidance, and sometimes a touch of humor to all those around him. He will be greatly missed. Though he is no longer with us, his influence and legacy will live on forever within each of us.
