Dolores Sandoval

Dolores Sandoval passed away March 10, 2022 in Longmont, Colorado. She was born on January 17, 1942 in Dallas, Texas to Leon and Aristea (Vasquez) Zuniga. She moved to the Longmont area in 1943 growing up on the family farm east of Longmont. She enjoyed being outdoors doing yardwork, camping, fishing, and exercising at the YMCA. Although she enjoyed all those activities, her true love was spending time with family and friends.

She was always helping and thinking of others.

Dolores was a Certified Nursing Assistant in private home care and loved all her clients.

She found her calling to be a care provider.

Dolores was married to Salvador Vigil Jr. for 25 years then married Silviano Sandoval.

She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter Juanita Jo Vigil; brothers Ray Zuniga and Jesse Zuniga; sisters Mary Lujan and Regina Zuniga.

Dolores is survived by her husband, Silviano Sandoval; her first husband, Salvador Vigil Jr; son Rick (Veronica) Vigil; daughters Lori (Robert) Vigil and Christina Vigil; brothers Julio Zuniga, Rudy Zuniga and Louis Zuniga; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dolores will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A funeral service for Dolores will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Howe Mortuary, 439 Coffman Street, Longmont, CO 80501. Following the funeral service will be a committal service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Mountain View Cemetery, 620 11th Avenue, Longmont, CO 80501.
